Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-08-03

Aldea Base is a fan-content app for Clash of Clans players. This policy explains what data the app handles, what it does not, and what you can do about it. It is written against what the app does today, not what it might do one day.

What we do not collect

There are no user accounts. We never ask for or store your name, your email, your phone number or your game account.

We use no analytics and no behavioural tracking inside the app.

We sell data to nobody, because we hold no data of yours to sell.

What stays on your device

These are kept in your phone’s local storage and are never sent to any server:

All of it is gone when you uninstall the app.

The village catalogue

The app downloads the catalogue from Supabase, our database provider. The exchange is read-only: the app asks for villages and guides, and sends nothing of yours.

As with any internet connection, the server logs technical details of the request, your IP address among them, so it can answer and protect itself from abuse. We do not cross-reference those logs or build a profile from them.

Advertising

The app is paid for by Google AdMob ads. AdMob is a third party with its own privacy policy, and it is the only party that collects data through the app.

Before any ad loads we ask for your consent through Google’s official form (UMP). On iOS the system additionally asks whether you allow tracking across apps (App Tracking Transparency).

If you agree, AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier to show you personalised ads. If you decline, you still see ads, just not personalised, and the app works exactly the same.

You can change your mind at any time from the ads section in Settings, and on iOS from the system settings too.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Ads are configured for a teen content rating.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access your data, correct it, erase it and object to its processing.

In practice, since we store nothing tied to your identity: to erase everything the app holds about you, uninstall it; to withdraw advertising consent, change it in Settings.

If you would still like to exercise any right, or have a question, write to us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date in the header and publish the new version here and on the store listing. If the change affects how your data is handled, we will say so inside the app.
